Here you can enter your destination and see the next available connections from your current location.
Can I view a connection starting from a different stop?
Yes. In the journey results, tap on the displayed starting point at the top. You can then select a different stop or location as your starting point.
How can I save connections as favorites?
You can save connections as favorites to quickly find important information again.
To do this, go to the journey planner and tap the three-dot icon next to the desired entry in the history list.
Favorites you no longer need can be removed there at any time.
Here you will find the currently available digital tickets of VLK and can purchase them via the shopping cart.
Do I need to create an account to buy tickets?
Yes. A customer account is required to purchase VLK mobile tickets.
Payment is possible by credit card or PayPal. SEPA direct debit is currently not available.
Why can’t I complete the registration on my PC?
Registration only works on a smartphone.
Please complete the process directly in the VLK app. The ticket shop and payment pages are not designed for PC or tablet use.
The registration stops even though I confirmed the email. Why?
Registration is only completed once a payment method has been successfully added.
Clicking the confirmation link alone is not sufficient.
I receive an error message when adding a payment method. What can I do?

How can I change my personal data or payment method?
You can do this in the app under “Profile”:
• Personal and login details can be edited directly there.
• To add a new payment method, you must register a new payment option.
The process is the same as during registration.
Can I buy tickets in advance?
Yes. Tickets can be purchased for any future date and time.
How do I set up a parent-child account link?
From the age of 15, you can register in the app with a child account.
During registration, select “Choose another payer” instead of a payment method and enter the email address of a registered parent.
The parent will receive a pairing code, which must then be entered under “Profile” → “Parent-child link”.
An optional spending limit can be set.
Can I buy a ticket for someone else?
Yes, but:
• The passenger’s name must be entered on the ticket.
• The passenger must be able to show valid ID during inspection.
• The ticket is always bound to the device on which it was purchased. Transfer to another smartphone is not possible.
Purchasing Germany Tickets for someone else is not possible.
Here you can retrieve departure and arrival information for individual stops.
How can I save locations as favorites?
You can save origins and destinations (stops, addresses or POIs) as favorites to quickly access important information.
To do this, go to Departures/Arrivals and tap the three-dot icon next to the desired entry in the history or stop list.
Favorites you no longer need can be removed there at any time.
Here you can customize the VLK app to suit your individual preferences.
Can I customize the quick access bar at the bottom of the screen?
Yes. In the settings under “Personalize app”, you can configure the quick access bar according to your preferences. You can select up to five menu items and change their order by dragging them.

How can I cancel my Deutschlandticket in the VLK app?
Quick and easy in the VLK app:
• Log in under “Profile”
• Go to “Ticket purchase” → “My tickets” and cancel directly below the open ticket
Can I buy a Deutschlandticket for someone else?
No. Purchasing Deutschlandticket in the app is only possible for the currently logged-in user.
What proof do I need for a discounted Deutschlandticket?
As part of the booking process for a discounted Deutschlandticket, you must upload a "Confirmation of eligibility for the Bavarian discounted ticket for trainees, students, and volunteers."
